ACL Essex is the largest provider of adult education in the county. Our aim is to provide learners with as many ways to flourish as possible, to be there in communities across Essex, to make a difference to residents and businesses, so they can make a difference for themselves and to the places that they live in.We offer a wide variety of courses, grouped into curriculum areas. Whether you’re looking to gain a qualification, access support for your wellbeing, take up a new hobby or develop your essential skills.

Who can use this service?
Those who are 19 and over. Some courses are FREE, and others do have a charge; however funding and financial support are available, depending upon your circumstances.
How are services delivered?
Our courses are delivered in safe and supportive classrooms or held virtually online with specalist tutors.
