Essex Home Help Service
Essex Home Help Service is a registered charity which offers support within the home to the elderly, vulnerable, and carers of loved ones. Services include housework, shopping, prescription collections, companionship and sitting service. The cost of this service is £24.50 per hour for housework and shopping (plus 45p a mile for shopping trips), £27.00 per hour for sitting/companionship. We also offer a free Telephone Befriending service where the same volunteer calls at the same day and time each week to help combat loneliness and isolation.

Our service is delivered with dignity and respect at all times. We offer a range of weekly services from housework, shopping and sitting/companionship and our aim is to deliver a high quality service at the lowest possible price. Please note that we do not provide personal care or medication support.
All of our Home Helpers are fully insured, trained, and have completed enhanced DBS checks for your reassurance. To reassure our clients and their loved ones, all of our Home Helps are all on the vaccination programme. For further information click HERE
