ECC: Men4Mental Health

The Early Help and Wellbeing Team (Essex County Council) runs Men4Mental Health courses regularly throughout the year. It is for any man feeling low, experiencing a lack of motivation, loss of direction, struggling in their relationships or struggling in any other way with their mental health. We accept self-referrals but if you are a professional / organisation wanting to make a referral on behalf of the person, please call our duty line 0333 032 2958 or email earlyhelp.wellbeingteam@essex.gov.uk to discuss further.

Remote In-person

Further info

The course is FREE and open to any man living in Essex (excluding Southend and Thurrock) aged between 18 and 65.

Men can either attend in person or virtually. If wanting to join virtually, they can attend the session using their mobile/laptop/computer/tablet from the comfort of their own home and join with members at the in-person session.

New programmes start throughout the year.  The location of each cohort is decided based on the waiting list and where the majority of men live. So we hold it wherever the most demand is at the time. This is a hybrid group however so you can join online as well.

If you are a professional, please email earlyhelp.wellbeingteam@essex.gov.uk or call 0333 032 2958 to make a referral.
