Reach Out For Mental Health
Reach Out for Mental Health offers a variety of support for those struggling with suicidal thoughts. We provide a safe, confidential and respectful space for you to talk to a trained volunteer befriender or trainee counsellor about anything which may be troubling you. NOTE: We are not a crisis service, so if you are feeling acutely suicidal and are concerned that you are unable to keep yourself safe, call 111 option 2 or 999.
Reach Out for Mental Health offers the following support:
- We offer 12 weeks of FREE counselling with a trainee counsellor. This can be conducted over the phone, online or face to face.
- Coffee groups - small, peer-led sessions for connection and conversation. The groups are facilitated by a trained volunteer who either has their own lived experience of mental health problems, has supported someone close to them with suicidal thoughts or sadly might have lost someone to suicide
- Befriending calls - We offer over the phone befriending support with trained volunteers, all of whom have their own lived experience.
For further details visit our website: Reach Out for Mental Health or call 07308 069 609 and speak with our Clinical Assessor. They'll have a chat with you, find out more about your situation and together you can make a decision about what you feel is best for you.
