GamFam is a registered charity, set up by people who have experienced first-hand the devastating effects that gambling can have on family and friends. We provide FREE advice and support to those directly and indirectly affected by gambling. We offer a safe, confidential space for peers to share and support one another using our GRA5P five stage programme.

The GRA5P programme delivers a strong support network so that group members can start to understand the devastating impact that a gambling disorder can have. It also offers guidance on how individuals, families and friends can help themselves, as well as practical suggestions for coping day-by-day and moving towards a more positive future.

Our facilitators are trained and supported by GamFam and guide the group through the GRA5P programme. Guest speakers share their experiences and provide themes to consider for personal recovery. GamFam have partnered with Suffolk Minds to access their Your Needs Met© programme, which helps build resilience and recover individual emotional and physical well-being. We also signpost to relevant partners and agencies.

For further details on the services we provide and how to refer to our programme visit our website GamFam. GamFam also offer a free Information & Awareness session via Zoom every Monday at 1pm. To book follow this link : Understanding Gambling and its Harms.
