MSE: Long Covid Service

A dedicated assessment and treatment service for Long COVID Patients. This is a free service and patients must be referred by a healthcare professional, such as a GP or consultant. This service has a team of Doctors, Nurses, Physiotherapists, Occupational Therapists, Clinical Psychologists, Speech and Language Therapists, and other health professionals, working to aid recovery and manage Long COVID through advice, education, rehabilitation and support groups.

Eligibility Criteria:     Primarily, we accept referrals for individuals experiencing Long COVID symptoms for more than 12 weeks, after ruling out other illnesses. Long COVID encompasses ongoing symptomatic COVID-19 (from 4 to 12 weeks) and post COVID-19 syndrome (12 weeks or more). Fewer referrals are accepted for those with symptoms for only 4 weeks, as recovery typically occurs within 12 weeks.
