The Laindon Activity Centre

The Laindon Activity Centre is a lively, friendly and bustling daytime venue for the new town's older generation to meet and socialise in the very heart of Basildon. We host various activities, including crafts, fitness and dance classes and we have a computer suite. Membership is open to anyone over 50. Membership fees apply. Specialised transport can be arranged.

Our other activities include art, singing and woodwork. We also hold regular entertainment events and organise numerous day trips per year, including shopping trips and London shows. Membership fee is £15 per annum for Basildon residents and £20 for non-Basildon residents.
