Basildon Community Transport Service

Basildon Community Transport Services is a local charity providing transport services for the residents of the Basildon Borough which includes; Basildon, Billericay and Wickford. Our transport service provides a valuable service for people unable to use public transport due to illness, age or rural isolation. Our minibuses may be used for health appointments, shopping, social events and day centres. Membership fees apply. Our minibuses are all wheelchair accessible and drivers are DBS checked and Midas trained.

Membership for the scheme: Individual members - £17 annually and group membership - £28 annually.  Each journey costs £5.50 for any distance up to 3 miles. For journeys over we charge 50p per mile afterwards, minimum charge of £5.50. We also accept valid concessionary bus passes. You will need to show the bus driver your pass every time you get on the bus, but you will travel for free.
