Wheelchair Loan Service
Our wheelchair loan service is by appointment only. This is available for Basildon area residents only. You are required to become a member (annual membership is £20) and pay a deposit of £80. The deposit is refunded when the wheelchair is returned in good condition. Hire period is 6 weeks at a time to a maximum of 12 weeks. No charge is made for the actual hire period.

Basildon Borough residents only.
How are services delivered?
We can deliver the chairs to you at the price of £10 if required, or you can collect the chair from the George Hurd Centre from Monday to Friday, 10am to 2pm.
