The Windrush Scheme can help suppoprt you to get proof of your right to be in the UK and/ or The Windrush helpline can help you make a claim. We give extra support to those who need it - for example, elderly or vulnerable claimants.If you are outside the UK, email the helpline and request a call back. Windrush helpline is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm -UK (except bank holidays)

In 2018 when the Windrush Scandal came to light, the Windrush Engagement team was set up to work with the community and reach out to the people who were impacted.This entails working collaboratively with grassroot charities and organisations to have discussions about how the Windrush scandal came about, who it impacted and what action was taken by the Home Office to right the wrongs.
