Age Well East: Friendship Groups
Age Well East: Friendship Groups provide companionship and social opportunities to anyone aged over 60 who is feeling lonely. The groups are dementia inclusive and attendees can take part in fun activities, enjoy a cup of tea or coffee, and socialise with other people. Groups run on Mersea Road, Stanway, Colchester and Corringham and some have a nominal entrance fee. Take a look at our website to see our online groups available to join.

Age Well East also run a selection of online groups across the week. To join us online via Microsoft Teams attendees will need a computer, tablet or smart phone with ccess to Wi-Fi or data.
Our online groups include: Arts & Crafts drop in, Knit Natter, Crochet Chatter, Book Group and a Friendship Group.

These in-person groups are open for anyone aged over 60.
The online groups are open to anyone aged 18+ living in Essex and Thurrock.
Face to face, volunteer led drop- in Friendship Groups.
Online groups are delived via Microsoft Teams.
