Yellow Door: Youth Counselling

Canvey Youth Project provides counselling for young people aged 11-25 in a confidential, non-judgemental setting. We offer weekly sessions where you can talk to your counsellor about what is on your mind and explore the difficulties you are experiencing. Each session lasts for 50 minutes.

Our counselling service is more specialised and therapeutic in addressing mental health concerns. Sessions are 50 minutes long and tailored to individual needs. Our counsellors are integrative and have experience supporting young people with:

- Anxiety, depression, and OCD
- Self-harm, anger, and trauma
- Addiction
- Bereavement, family issues, and relationship challenges
- Challenges faced by young people with additional needs
