Health, Wellbeing and Care Hub - Home CommuniCafe

Home CommuniCafe is an online speech and language therapy service designed for children and families who have chosen elective home education. Our aim is to empower children aged between 5 and 16, who are educated at home, to thrive through accessible, student-led speech and language therapy support. The on-line service offers flexible, engaging, and creative sessions delivered by speech and language therapy students under the supervision of a registered Speech and Language Therapist.

Whether your child needs help with speech sounds, vocabulary, understanding, expressive language, social communication, or building confidence in conversation, we are here to support their journey.

Where a high number of referrals are received, a clinical priority and waiting list system will be implemented.

Who can use this service?

Elecetively home educated young people aged 6-16 who would benefit from the service. 

How are services delivered?

Online.
