Dementia Friendly Cinema (Billericay)

An invitation for those living with dementia, their carers and families to join us for a bi-monthly dementia-friendly Sunday afternoon screening in a relaxed and welcoming environment. Tickets are £4 from Billericaycine.com, Human Kind Cafe and The Chantry Centre. Primary carers and professional care staff go free. You only need tickets for your loved one and any family and friends. Lights will be slightly higher, the volume a little lower and it's perfectly acceptable for guests to talk or move around if needed. Mid-film interval for a comfort break

Doors open at 2:30pm with the film at 3pm. Tea/coffee included - additional snacks, including home made cake, available at reasonable prices (cake £1).

Those living with dementia, their carers, professional care staff, family and friends. 

How are services delivered?

At The Chantry Centre, just off the High Street in Billericay. We have a large 3.5 metre screen from which we screen films.

Bi-monthly on Sundays, doors open 14:30, film 14:00. Finish depends on length of film, but usually around 5:30
